Location: Arizona Trail

Story: For the inaugural year of the Arizona Monster 300, Destination Trail tasked three photographers, including myself to come up with a solution on how to cover the first race of its length in the US. Luckily, each of us had photographed well over a dozen races at 200+ Miles. We had countless pre-production calls, hours upon hours of digital scouting, and came up with a production schedule that outlined where each member of the team would be for 9 days… in half-hour increments. We plan the best we can, knowing those plans won’t survive, then we lean on the backup plan(s), communication among the team, and years of experience to make sure the client thinks everything went perfectly.
